Just downloaded the Orion alpha and tried it on my Debian 13 x86_64 system, under wayland.
I chmod-ed the flatpack to be executable, then ran it from a terminal session. This is the output:
$ chmod +x oriongtk.alpha.external.flatpak
$ ./oriongtk.alpha.external.flatpak
./oriongtk.alpha.external.flatpak: 1: flatpakrefapp/com.kagi.OrionGtk/x86_64/mastersmetadata[Application]: not found
./oriongtk.alpha.external.flatpak: 7: [Context]: not found
./oriongtk.alpha.external.flatpak: 8: ipc: not found
./oriongtk.alpha.external.flatpak: 9: wayland: not found

No window or gui ever displays (waited several minutes), so I have to ^C the process to end it.
That's as far as it gets. 😉
