Frozen/greyed out passwords pane

It looks like everything via the "Password Providers..." submenu is broken on Tahoe (and continues to work in earlier versions).

I've just confirmed that even the built-in Apple passwords integration is broken here. When I select that and try to choose a password, I can't click anything--the whole popup window is grayed out, even though I can see all of my passwords.

KeePassium, on the other hand, flashes open and then closes before I can do anything. If I continue browsing in Orion for a few minutes, then I eventually get a KeePassium window asking me to authenticate with autofill (using touch ID or password). I can't dismiss that authentication window, but if I interact with it at all (click "use password" or touch my TouchID), the wiindow disappears and nothing happens.

Note that KeePassium continues to work with Safari on Tahoe, so this is clearly possible.

I note that Safari works because you may be able to copy whatever it's doing. (Assuming that this bit of integration is open source.)

I have been unable to use Apple's native Passwords on Orion in every website.

To use Apple's Passwords, first I selected the key icon next to the username/password field.

I then selected Passwords

And what happens next is that Passwords pops up, but with a grey overlay and is not interactable/usable.

After that appears, I can still use TouchID to unlock Passwords, but can't select any password as everything is greyed out and not clickable

At the minimum, Apple's Passwords needs to be usable such that the user can select the relevant username+password that they need.

Ideally, similarly to Apple's Passwords behavior on Safari, the right username+password combo should immediately be suggested on a website instead of the user having to click the key icon on a username/password field

I was trying to use google to sign in to t3chat, I selected sign in with google I clicked on the email text box, you know just signing into google I click the passwords popup trying to autofill like I normally do, it pops up and it is open, I can't click on any option, I can't close it, when it was opened, I say when because as I was typing this it just closed by itself, but regardless that did happen and it was a bug I just encountered now. and yes it worked perfectly fine in safari, so not a webkit bug.

I expected to be able to click the autofill button and scroll down to my google account, select it and login just fine.

Orion version is 1.0.4 and I'm running macOS 26.3.1

Whenever I select password providers it attempts to open Apple Passwords and it does but I can't copy a password from there and I can't close it. I have to force close Orion because I can't exit the browser with it open
I can still use the desktop version of Apple Passwords its just Orion that is having the issue

This works in Safari. I get the same error on a new clean Orion profile too

To allow me to open Apple Passwords and enter in my details, instead I need

I'm getting exactly this. Apple Passwords used to work ok; I think it stopped working after I upgraded to Tahoe 26.

(Even before this broke, using Apple Passwords with Orion on Mac was clunky compared to on Safari.)

honestly same, I think I also put my own issue up the moment it happened to me, with probally a little too much detail but yeah it was the same issue as this.

I just installed Tahoe 26.4 and this seems to be working now, at least for KeePassium as the password provider. I haven't tested other password managers (including the default "passwords" option). It was broken before the OS update and fixed afterward (with no Orion updates).

bsidhom I just read this, and tried it out (I also updated to 26.4 when it came out) and I just tried to login with google for t3chat using the default passwords option and it just worked no issues. So it seemed to have fixed itself with the latest MacOS update.
