High CPU usage when watching Twitch streams on MacBook Air M1

Recently swapped over to MacOS Orion after the 1.0 announcement on my MacBook Air M1. Haven't really used it on Twitch until last night for the Game Awards and all throughout the stream, I was experiencing higher than normal CPU usage to the point that temps were hitting over 60ºC which is very uncommon. Previous browser, Brave did not experience this nor Firefox. After the event was over and I closed the tab, CPU usage returned to normal and temp went back to normal range (35-40ºC).

Not having high CPU usage or high temp.

Hey, thank you for the feedback.
If you have a moment, could you compare Orion and Safari in terms of Twitch performance and resource usage? Moreover, do you have any extensions installed or are you able to reproduce the issue on a fresh Orion profile as well?

laiz Hmmm, after comparing. Issue might be an extension issue after all. I had another feedback post opened for the FrankerFaceZ extension not working. I noticed when comparing against Safari that runs more in line to what I expect despite not using Webkit browsers that often. After uninstalling the FrankerFaceZ extension the CPU usage seems to level out and temp are in the expected range. As a double check, I confirmed with a similar extension, BetterTTV, also causes high CPU usage and temps.
