Hi Orion team,

I’d like to ask for a few improvements to the Recently Closed Tabs feature on iOS. These are all small quality-of-life things, but they’d make the browser feel a lot more consistent and privacy-friendly.
Option to turn Recently Closed Tabs on/off
It would be great to have a simple toggle in settings to disable the Recently Closed list entirely for people who don’t want closed tabs saved at all.
Ability to clear the Recently Closed list
Right now, clearing browsing data doesn’t clear recently closed tabs. Having a “Clear Recently Closed Tabs” button (either in the menu or settings) would make things more predictable and give users full control.
Make Recently Closed follow browsing-data settings
Having an option for the list to automatically clear whenever browsing data is cleared would also help everything behave more consistently.
Option to limit how many closed tabs are stored
A setting that lets users choose how many recently closed tabs Orion keeps—like 0 (off), 1, 5, 10, or unlimited—would be a great way to balance privacy and convenience.
Auto-clear behavior
Some optional auto-clear choices would be helpful, for example:
clear on app quit
clear when the device locks
clear after X minutes of inactivity
never store tabs from private browsing
Control whether recently closed tabs sync
A simple switch to choose whether recently closed tabs sync across devices or stay local would be great for privacy-sensitive users.
These new features would improve Orion iOS by offering more control over the Recently Closed Tabs feature, something that many other browsers don't provide. Thanks for considering these ideas and for all the great work you’re doing with Orion!
Users would use these features to have more control over their Recently Closed Tabs—whether they want to disable it for privacy, clear it when needed, or limit how many tabs are saved. It would build on the current feature by offering more customization, making the browsing experience more private and tailored to each user’s needs.
