Tab URL is not displayed before a domain is resolved

Steps to reproduce:

Open a blank tab on mobile, type in some non-existing domain, maybe disable internet or break your DNS, smash 'go'
Observe an empty tab address ("search or enter website") with a loding indicator.

expected to see the url/address i just typed

i think the trick here is to emulate networking issues, in my case DNS server didn't reply until a timeout
