It is happening on different sites : YouTube, Twitter, Gmail. I didn't track how long it takes, but roughly once a week the sites silently log me out. YouTube most often. Today it was Twitter.

On YouTube, after a 'shadow logout,' if I click the Sign In button, YouTube doesn't ask for credentials but reloads the page and shows me the home page i.e., it authorizes me silently.

Could you share a screenshot of your Settings → Privacy? That page contains a section for configuring whether cookies are automatically deleted.

However, the description in your report suggests there might be something else at play.
Lastly, do you have any extensions installed?

I have the same issue: I constantly need to re-login to 2FA for PayPal, which was indeed mostly a Black Friday issue ;-)... Other cookies stay, like Google authentication. I have not identified a pattern yet.

Same issue for me for quite a long time. But it happens with specific websites. Often youtube and twitch. It's not like it lasts 1 week or so, it's just I have to re-login pretty often compared to my chrome experience.

One special offender is fly.io dashboard; it nukes the session/cookie right upon a restart, every time, and I couldn't reproduce it in Safari, but it's a separate issue #12356).
