Nested vertical tabs "when closing an expanded tab" options do not work except default "Shift all children up a level"

Enable vertical tabs
Open a couple of nested tabs
Open Orion settings
Go to the Vertical Tabs setting and change the default setting "Shift all children up a level" to any of the other 2 options available
Close and re-open Orion settings
Now you can see the Vertical Tabs setting did not keep the other options and defaults back to "Shift all children up a level", closing the expanded tab also confirms its still on the default behavior

Note: No, keeping the settings page open does not work either, it seems like changing the "when closing an expanded tab" options simply do not work

The other 2 settings being saved properly when closing settings and actually working
