Tabs don't resize after closing unless cursor is moved

When closing tabs, they won't adjust their size unless the cursor is moved off the current tab. This happens for any number of tabs. This does also happen in Safari, but I hope it's not an intended feature because imo, it's quite annoying.

Steps to replicate:

Open multiple new tabs
Close tabs quickly, without moving the cursor

(Warning: slight flashing when I open tabs, due to a separate bug)

Tabs should resize quickly and without any lag, without the cursor needing to be moved

Hey @MK2025 thank you for your suggestion and reaching out!

This is an intended behavior because if the tabs automatically resize on closing, you will not be able to keep your mouse at the same position and close the tabs quickly like you currently are (since the width of the first tab will change causing the close button to no longer be under your cursor) - you will need to move your mouse to close every tab, which is waay more annoying than this.
