I noticed that flicking the viewport up (to scroll down) and then quickly tapping it to stop the scroll fails in Orion iOS during the toolbar hiding animation.
This “breaks” muscle memory built on Safari iOS, where the viewport scroll is always reactive to touch no matter what the rest of the UI is doing.
This issue cause the unpleasant “runaway scroll” whereby I flick the viewport to quickly scroll down a bit and then almost immediately try to “grab it” to stop it, but in Orion it keeps scrolling sometimes if the tap happens before the toolbar hiding animation completes.
The workaround is to disable toolbar hiding in the settings.
The viewport scroll should always respond to touches no matter what the toolbar animation state is.
