ICloud Passwords extension password autofill is no longer working on Orion

In July/August, the extension worked perfectly, and autofilling my login details with it was a breeze. However, at some point, the functionality was lost, and now the extension’s behavior is inconsistent at best. I tested an Orion build from July with an iCloud Passwords (Firefox) version from July and it was still broken. This might suggest that macOS Tahoe is playing a role.
Steps to reproduce the issue:

Create a fresh Orion profile.
Configure Settings → Passwords → Password Provider to 3rd-party provider.
Install the iCloud Passwords extension for either Firefox or Chrome.
Go to a website for which you have saved login details in your Passwords app.
Attempt to have Orion suggest autofilling.
Nothing happens.
You can sometimes get the login details to appear by clicking the extension icon and selecting the details from there. This typically requires two clicks before anything is autofilled.

I am encountering the same issue, both on my main profile as well as on a brand new profile.

I installed the Chrome iCloud Passwords extension on a fresh install of Orion to see if it worked for me but it seems like it's no longer being detected as a supported browser/system/

Odd, I'm also on 26.1 but I haven't encountered that error on any Orion version.

So I also just checked a clean install of Orion on 26.2 beta and I had no problem getting the iCloud Passwords Chrome extension loaded and getting the code from the system to unlock it. The autofill prompt doesn't work anymore when clicking on the username or password field but I can click the extension icon and it will auto fill.

I am seeing similar behavior - the iCloud Passwords extension no longer shows as a drop down in the username/password field on websites. I can get it in the menu bar icon but can frequently take two clicks to get the password to show. Occasionally I need to reload the webpage and then the menu icon will show the password item. I do not have any problems "activating" iCloud Passwords - I always get the 6 digit code to authorize iCloud Passwords.

Since this problem has been occurring I also have no way to get the 2FA codes since the drop down in the 2FA field is not there and the menu icon does not show 2FA codes.

1Password does still work in the username/password field on websites.

I am on the latest release version of Tahoe - 26.1 on an intel Mac Pro 7,1 with Orion RC Version 1.0.0 (139-rc), WebKit 623.1.8.0.0. I see the same behavior on Orion as well.

I have tried both the verion of iCloud Passwords from the Chrome and Firefox Stores.

Also, every time I reopen Orion it makes me reauthenticate the extension with Apple by using a 6-digit code. I can see this happening the first time, but EVERY TIME?! This makes me want to just go back to using Safari.
