I don’t know if there’s another post for this already, but a funny thing I’ve noticed for a long time on mobile is the setting comment for “Low Power Mode” mentioning pinned tabs. This feature hasn’t existed on mobile Orion, I don’t think, but in lieu of not noticing another post about this it’d be nice to see pinned tabs added on mobile. I’ve had times where I really didn’t want a tab to unload and lose some sort of progress, but leaving for another app occasionally auto-unloads all Orion tabs.
Pinned tabs could either be more aggressive in reserving memory to keep pages loaded, or just allow users to keep select tabs open when closing all other tabs. Unsure the feasibility here when it comes to how Orion can or must operate on mobile platforms. Given how volatile memory management can be, reliably keeping some tabs loaded would be a wonderful improvement to curb that volatility.
