Device heats up a lot when using Orion

After using Orion for 30 seconds to 1 minute, my phone really heats up, it didn’t happen before the liquid glass implementation (as far as I can remember).

I tried to see if it would happen in Safari, but my phone doesn’t heat up as much compared to Orion.

My device is an iPhone 16.

Orion version: 1.3.31 (5) (WebKit 8622.2.11.10.4)

iOS version: 26.1

Hi Skylokk, thank you for taking the time to report this issue!

By any chance, did you just recently update to iOS 26? When installing a new major iOS version, sometimes the device is slower for 2-3 days after, and uses more resources in the process.

Are there any specific sites that you've noticed exacerbate the issue? Do you run any extensions?

Yes, I have uBlock Origin installed, I’ll remove it and see if the issue persists.
And the issue happens when using the browser in general, it’s not website specific.

jeanetienne Hi, I updated to iOS 26 about two months ago, even ran the public beta for a while and never experienced this issue, however, it started happening about three weeks after installing the released version of iOS 26, and it still happens in iOS 26.1.
