1Password Extension on iOS cannot communicate with the 1Password App to enable Biometric Unlock Akin to iOS Safari

Hi there,

When using the Orion Browser on iOS, you’re given the option to install the 1Password extension. However, when you do this, you’re not able to unlock the extension using biometrics.

On Safari, installing the 1Password extension does enable you to unlock the extension using biometrics, as the extension is able to communicate back to the 1Password app on iOS.

This might be a platform limitation, but I’m not sure.

Expected the 1Password to unlock using biometrics like how the Safari Extension unlocks.

I was able to get it running by adding Orion to supported browsers in 1Password. By default only "common" browsers are supported.

dmarc I don’t think you can do this on iOS. Only on macOS.
