YouTube ads not blocked properly

I just upgraded to iOS 26 and there seems to be an issue where the ads on YouTube play for just a tiny second before being skipped, when before I updated they wouldn't play at all.

I expected that like before, ads wouldn't show up at all, not even for a split second.

This issue is not limited to mobile. I am also experiencing it on MacOS 26.1.
