LL Bean.com: Could Not Complete Checkout Process

When it came time to confirm my purchase after completing all of the required data fields, I was shown an unspecific error message that the process could not be completed. My Orion browser is pretty much stock with only one third-party Firefox extension to enable Strongbox auto-fill.

I then tried using the Brave browser which I have set to a high-level of privacy/security along with installing a variety of third-party anti-tracking & ad-blocking extensions. The LL Bean transaction was confirmed.

Can you explain what happened please?
The button wasn't working? There was no button at all? The page was frozen?

I'm sorry that I left out a step in my description. . . When I clicked the webpage button to place the order, nothing happened. The webpage did not refresh nor otherwise confirm that the order process had been completed. Only the unhelpful error message was displayed.
