Graphic performance issue on Tahoe 26.1RC

When many webpages/tabs are open, Orion graphic performance decreases dramatically and grsphic performance decreases in whole system as well i.e. all other opened browsers are affected as well. Video playback framerate decreases and scrolling becomes choppy.

This persists untul Orion is hidden using Cmd+H key combination - when Orion is hidden problem disappears. Activating/switching back to (previously hidden) Orion causes problem to return.

Any other browser I use (Safari, Vivaldi, Chrome, Firefox, Edge) does not cause same problem.

This problem did not exist on macOS 26.0.1 when same or bigger amount of tabs was opened in Orion.

On macOS 26.1 RC it seems that less than 100 tabs will cause this degradation when even over 300 tabs did not do that on macOS 26.0.1

Dustin It does not look like that for me - function of Stage manager seems to be like hiding all other applications beside active one and then shuffling aroud recent apps in this manner. This means that switching over to other app will hide Orion and therefore remediate this deterioration (if present).

It is possible there's relation between this performance deteriorattion thing and Stage manager behaviour but I am not able to reproduce it on M3 MB Air.

Now it is possible to say that problem persists on 26.1 RTM (25B78) as well. It looks like hiding Orion with Cmd+H and reactivating it can help temporarily, but not for long. Both video playback framerate and graphic performance in all other applications degrade to about the same low framerate.
