Check for Updates menu item non-functional

Selecting “Check for Updates…” from the Orion main menu doesn’t do anything at all, the updates window just doesn’t appear. I have tried quiting Orion and re-launching it but it doesn’t make any difference.

The updates window should appear.

Hey! The team is aware of the issue and fixing it won't require the user to do anything. Once the next -beta build is available, you will be able to check for updates again. Apologies for this issue.

laiz hello, I'm facing this issue as well. how will we know if there's an update available though? If I can't check for updates now, even if there's an update that solves this, I won't receive it, correct?

Once a build newer than your current one is available, the update button should work. Additionally, if you have enabled automatic updates, they should take care of it.
Another option is to keep an eye on the release notes or the Kagi Discord for the next build.
