Most recent Orion RC crashes on startup with SIGABRT

The most recent Orion RC crashes immediately on startup with SIGABRT. I briefly see a "crash log found" in orion followed by an macOS crash report.

I tried deleting and reinstalling it.

I cannot even check the Orion RC version.

Here is mine - I assume it's pretty similar but may give the dev team a clue as to what's happened in this build

JamesW-AU @SuperFluffy we have pushed a new hotfix for the crashes, you can try opening Orion in safe mode by keep holding Shift key while launching Orion if you are stuck in startup crash.

I'm having the same issue. Weirdly, only the default profile is broken and the others seem to work just fine. I even created a new profile based on the broken default one and that worked as well.

Good to learn about safe mode and shfit key. I was looking for that but failed searching for it.

SuperFluffy we will add that info to the help document (if not already added) with use cases where it’s useful.

However we added new mechanism now, where if the app crashes on startup, we identify that and show a special dialogue on next relaunch where you can atleast update your Orion version if there’s a hotfix pushed for that.
