I have been seeing an issue for several months now (on Sequoia and now Tahoe) where Safari and Orion both are unable to load pages, and I get the "This webpage was reloaded because a problem occurred." (image attached below). I also notice that Spotify hangs, and I cannot access the sound preferences in System Preferences. I also notice the screen flash white when alerts should sound (which is an accessibility setting I normally have inactivated). I also notice that Zoom freezes on launch and Spotify (often running in the background) has a spinning beachball. I either have to restart to get everything working again or I have to run a "sudo killall coreaudiod" in terminal.
There are 2 reasons I am posting this here:
- I think this started after I starting using Orion as my main browser (may be coincidence...).
- In searching the log for that moment of onset of the error, the only reference to coreaudio was a sandbox violation error by the com.apple.WebKit.GPU.Orion process that seems to be triggered by coreaudio calls. This may be a symptom of the coreaudiod crash and not a cause, but I am posting in case it helps others begin to troubleshoot. The log entry is below the image.
