When you enable "Options" -> "View" -> "Hide toolbar when scrolling," the screen jerks (jumps) when the toolbar is hidden.

Please review the panel hiding mechanism. It is also present in Safari, but not as clearly as in Orion.

Orion is the latest from the AppStore, iOS 18.7.1.

Hey! Could you share a video of this issue? I daily drive Orion with that setting enabled, and I haven't noticed anything odd about the scrolling behavior.

Safari is almost smooth, with no jerking

This issue could be exclusive to non-iOS26 users; I cannot see anything wrong with my recording. However, I admit your eye might be keener than mine, is there something off with the video below?

This is the App Store build of Orion on iOS 26.0.1

In iOS 26, hiding the panel is different from hiding it in iOS 18, but in Safari, hiding it still happens without a screen flicker. If possible, please fix this.

After carefully reviewing your and my videos, I realized that the bug occurs as a result of the toolbar being completely hidden. In Safari, like in your case, the address remains on the screen and there is no screen flickering.
