New Profile Won't Sync

Orion 0.99.136-beta (WebKit 622.1.15.19.2) running on a MacBook Pro under MacOS 15.7.1.

I had to create and migrate to a new profile, because my Default profile got corrupted. That went fine, but the new profile won't sync. I forced a sync, and it went through the procedure, but it still shows as Synced: [no].

This feels like it might not be a bug, but a config I've failed to set correctly, but…not for lack of trying!

(Also, for tidiness, I'd prefer to delete the no-longer-used/corrupt previous default profile, which I renamed "old". This, however, does not seem possible.)

Hey! Currently, only the Default/Primary profile can be synced. The user cannot change that at the moment.

Could you specify what the issue with your old profile is? Are you able to launch it at all?

Old default profile problems started out as described here in this previous bug report, and grew worse (expanded to other sites, etc). Yes, I can still launch the old profile.

New profile is set to Default (see first screenshot). I would just as soon have it as my one and only profile; could I just rename ~/Library/Application Support/Orion/Defaults folder to Defaults_Old and rename ~/Library/Application Support/Orion/[new profile folder] to Defaults, or otherwise make the new profile the "anchor" profile?

This might be worth trying! Please grab a backup of the profiles first in case something goes wrong. If it isn't too much trouble, I'd be interested to know whether that solves the issue.
