Heating phone when watching videos

When watching videos on iOS, the phone heats up in the processor area, the heating is quite significant, and this affects the battery life. The problem appears on iOS 26, 26.1. If you watch videos with the power saving mode turned on, there is no heating.
P.s. The videos is not of high quality.

The phone does not heat up significantly when watching simple video content of average quality.

Hey! Can you compare this behavior to Safari? Does your phone get warm when repeating the same steps on Safari?

Orion browser: Watching a video for 30 minutes. After 10 minutes of watching, the heating is already noticeable, after 30 minutes the heating is significant, it is felt both on the back of the phone and on the display.
I let it cool for 30 minutes.
Safari browser: After 30 minutes of watching the same video, there is no heating.

Do you have any extensions enabled?

Yes, you were right, I have 2 extensions, I checked by disabling them and it turned out that the phone was heating up because of the “uBlock Origin” extension. Thanks for the help!

Happy to hear it's resolved, though uBlock shouldn't be causing that either ideally 🙂
