Steps to reproduce:
- open new window with 2 tabs in standard or compact tabs layout
- hit
ctrl+cmd+2 to show the vertical tabs sidebar
- hit
ctrl+cmd+2 to go back to hide the vertical tabs sidebar
- do this a few times to notice how slow opening the vertical tabs sidebar is
The animation is really slow and it looks like Orion is first showing the Windows sidebar, then showing the Tabs layout.
By the way, notice the tooltip on the first tab that shows up I don't know why, my mouse is nowhere near that tab…
Expected results:
Switching to and from the vertical tabs sidebar should be almost instant, at least it should not show the windows sidebar before showing the vertical tabs sidebar.
