Search Bar Focus Isn't Automatic

when switching between apps with cmd + tab the focus change on the toolbar/search bar isn't automatic... look at how Safari handles it... Orion takes a second, then it blinks and that is annoying.

you are in finder
you use cmd + tab to change to Orion
the upper bar, search bar takes a second to get the focus (change of color), this should be automatic...

I expect to get the same behavior that I get when I switch to Safari using cmd + tab... automatic focus change...

I spent a good while ⌘+tabbing between various windows and Orion but I was not able to spot any delays. I know screen recording can add its own delays and introduce lag, but having a recording of you reproducing this issue on your setup would be very helpful in tracking down what exactly is causing Orion to not be snappy for you.

it's just a visual bug, I'm attaching a video... look at the difference between Safari and Orion.

To be clear you're just referring to how the tab bar is grayed out for a few frames correct?
