I thought about opening multiple issues, but they all look like off-by-one errors, and have a common setup, so there is probably a common cause.
Whenever I open a bunch of background tabs, then close one, a number of strange behaviours start happening.
E.g. open Hacker News -> open a bunch of comment pages in background tabs -> read one (not the last!), close the tab, pick another one from the overview and repeat
- the last tab sometimes disappears from the tab overview, but you can still slide to it using the address bar gesture
- when selecting a tab, sometimes the animation plays from the wrong side
- when opening a new background tab, sometimes it replaces the last tab
- with the last tab selected, often it looks like there's another tab after it (the corner of its address bar is visible) but there isn't, and switching to it leads to a new tab, which doesn't show in the overview
- rarely, a "hole" in the tab list shows up as a tab without an address bar, which AFAICT can only be arrived at through gestures
I was not able to figure out exact reproduction steps (so no video, sorry), but these happen often enough that I figured I'd report them. These have been happening since I started using Orion a few months ago.
