The Accessory Buttons bar is a good idea. However, the only Accessory Button I have used so far is the .com one. Please enable us to make our own bars of Keyboard Accessory Buttons. That way users can choose buttons they would personally find useful.
I think it makes sense for most “buttons” to be custom text the user types. That way you don’t have to cater to everyone’s preferences.
If you decide to implement this, I strongly suggest that you also add two button choices that aren’t pasted text fields. The iOS app iA Writer uses a keyboard bar, and two of them are “move text cursor one character left” and “move text cursor one character right”.
Those buttons are very handy when trying to fix a spellcheck issue. I imagine they would also be quite useful when trying to make fine-grained changes to a web address.
