Popup is displaying that page is broken and needs to be reloaded

The page is working as expected until Orion displays a broken page popup.
Its apparently some form of adblock detection that displays with browser dialogue.

Sites shouldn't be able to create browser dialogues and force page refresh when we cancel those dialogues.

Xytronix Site wouldn't load for me yesterday, seems fine now. I can't replicate the issue though, it's just these questions correct?

I run into a similar issue on some sites. The content loads but after a few seconds I get an error and the page reloads in the background.

Choosing Ok redirects to https://report.error-report.com/

The issue is because of a new anti-adblocker method. It was reported and fixed by ublock origin

That's great that uBlock addressed this, but that doesn't help those of us using Orion on iOS because uBlock like all other extensions is broken. Actually I have not managed to get uBlock Origin to work at all even with the workaround described in that bug.

I tried manually updating the built-in content blocker filters, as well as adding the uBlock 'Privacy' list mentioned above as a custom filter, but neither has gotten rid of this site-break, which leads me to wonder if the built in content blocker is even working correctly.

This thread is already about Orion's built-in ad-blocker, not about uBlock Origin. The reason it was pointed out that uBlock Origin fixed the issue is so Orion devs could get some understanding on what the issue is and how it was fixed as it might help Orion devs fix it for Orion's built-in ad-blocker. Roxy understood the post and has already changed the tag to 'Under Review'

This issue seems to be persistent with recipe websites viewed in Orion on iOS. Two sites for reference: https://cookieandkate.com/huevos-rancheros-recipe/ and https://muybuenoblog.com/huevos-rancheros/
