Apple password extension malfunction

I installed the icloud password extension both from mozilla firefox or chrome store. they all have malfunction in inputing the verifiation code to start the apple password. see the attchement screen recording.

OS: macOS 26 public beta 6
Device: MacBook Pro M1
Orion version: 0.99.136-beta (WebKit 622.1.15.19.2)

Resolve the compatibility problem of icloud password extension.

I am unable to reproduce this using iCloud Passwords (3.1.27) Chrome version.
The only other difference is that I am on Sequoia.
