Link Preview Focusing Main App Window

I'm experiencing two cases where the link preview is focusing the main Orion window over the external app the link preview is triggered from.

Firstly, it happens every time I close the link preview with the escape key.

Then, on the very next opening of link preview from any external app after causing the bug by closing the last with escape it happens again — only this time on opening a link with link preview.

The link preview should be activating Orion and focusing its main window ahead of the external app launching link preview. When the link preview closes by button or escape it should return focus to the external app which launched the link preview.

philipsdean Thank you for reporting this issue.

I can reproduce the first case you note involving the escape key, and will fix this issue.

However, I am not reproducing the second case, as after performing the first case, on re-focusing the external app, the preview and window behavior is normal for me.
Might you be able to share a video of this second case?
Are you using any external monitors or multiple macOS Spaces (desktops)?

While trying to get a video for you, i've found it happens sometimes regardless of a preceding escape close of the preview window. I'm not sure what the exact reproduction sequence is though (1). You can see in the video i've attached.. even after a click on x to close the preview, on open of a new preview window it will too push the app behind Orion.

(1) Following on RoxyRoxyRoxy reply I decided to try this again on both a new clean profile, but also a duplicated profile of my main one and this no longer occurred in neither! (somewhat interesting that the preview is opened on the earliest launched profile rather than being it's own isolated profile)

I guess my second problem was a result of a corrupted profile and so i'll consider it fixed as I can copy essentially everything from my original profile into a new one; I'm pretty sure the only user information it seems to leave behind is the programmable buttons(?).
