What is this suggestion about:
Currently, to toggle the auto-show sidebar behavior, the user needs to know that the toggle is not in the settings but rather part of the UI:
This results in nearly daily questions about how the auto-show behavior can be toggled.
Orion settings already have a Sidebar section but currently it only has a checkbox for Auto-showing sidebar in full screen. Adding another checkbox for Auto-show sidebar on hover would improve the user experience.
The benefits of implementing this change:
- an improved experience for users trying to configure their browser, no more guessing, asking, or hunting for the correct setting
- There is no need to hide such a great feature behind convoluted steps.
