Steps to reproduce:
With https://discord.com/app open in a tab (and favicons visible in tabs), click on the desktop to deactivate Orion.
Expected behavior:
The favicon for that tab goes greyscale, rather than…

The root cause of this might be https://orionfeedback.org/d/420-favicon-on-open-tab-does-not-update-when-sites-favicon-updates
After restarting macOS (for today's security update) the icon is not corrupted, but of course corruption usually isn't deterministic… Sorry I don't have guaranteed repro steps, though!
I'm afraid I just happened to notice it for a tab I had open for a long time. Then I restarted the laptop, and now it's working okay.
Aha, https://discord.com/ (not the web app) does reproduce it reliably, probably because the web app updates the favicon in its JavaScript (like the issue @gp linked).
