Testflight build locks up or crashes when opening a new private tab if Lock Only Private Tabs is enabled

Steps to reproduce the issue:

Install Orion 1.3.26 (8)
Enable Lock Only Private Tabs in Settings → Privacy
Long press the tab icon on the toolbar
Select New Private Tab
Orion will now freeze/lock up/turn entirely blank and the user cannot interact with it in any way
In some cases Orion will crash shortly after, but not consistently

Bonus jankiness:
Leave Orion, long press the app icon and select new tab/new private tab and the Orion UI will break. Quitting Orion will solve this.

I was not able to reproduce these issues on the App Store version. Similarly, the bug seems to require Lock Only Private Tabs to be enabled.

Users should be able to open new private tabs without Orion breaking.

Force close Orion
Open Orion
Try opening a private tab by either long pressing the + button or long pressing the tabs button
You are met with a blank screen after Face ID runs

Only way to get out of it is to force close the app. This doesn’t apply to “Browser Lock” setting. Only “Lock Only Private Tabs”.

I expect Orion to open a private tab that is not a blank screen with “Lock Only Private Tabs” enabled.

Hi, I can't replicate this, I just get the standard new private tab page. Are you able to share screenshots and/or video of this occurring?

Sure, here’s a video. The one extension I have is the ublock origin chrome extension. I’ve both disabled and deleted the extension, and that has no effect either.

Switching from normal tabs to private tabs results in a bugged page, unresponsive menu button (tab button works). Opening tabs and switching to an existing private tab or creating a new one restores functionality.

Does not occur again until after force quitting.
Occurs with either grid or list tab views
Occurs when activating private via gesture or from tab list.

Switch to existing tab or new tab page with functional toolbar buttons.

Note, if private tab is active before force quitting, starting Orion will start in private tab. Similar buggy behavior is then seen when switching to normal tabs.
