Redirect website's links are broken

I saw this post on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/breakawaybilly.bsky.social/post/3lv3ovxd75627

When I click to open the referenced github.com website, Bluesky redirects me: https://go.bsky.app/redirect?u=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fmultikernel%2Fkernelscript

Now in the address bar, I see: https://github.com/multikernel/kernelscript

However, many of the links in the website are broken and point to the bsky.app domain while retaining the github.com's path:

Also, github.com shows I'm not logged in but if I open a new tab and go to github.com, I'm logged in.

The github.com website would open normally without thinking it's bsky.app

Great catch! Able to reproduce on -beta and -rc.
Safari works as expected.

Found another instance of this in YouTube descriptions. If I middle click/cmd+click a link in the video description, Orion thinks the website 'root' is youtube.com instead of the actual domain.

The first link in the description of this video is a good example. After opening it, you can hover over the links at the top of the page and notice how they point to youtube.com/discover etc.

also having redirect issues on figma (keeps on refreshing), on https://www.sanity.io when trying to signup / login (constant redirect or something like that up to a point where tab performance degrades to a complete halt).

tried enabling / disabling compatibility and other website settings as much as I could, no combination works. no other extensions installed.
