There are two macOS users on my computer: A and B. Each has their own set of Orion profiles. I'd expect each profile to be isolated from the others, but especially across users. However, when working as User A I'm able to see the names of User B's profiles in both Spotlight and under the Default Web Browser system setting.
When trying to open User B's profiles from Spotlight, it instead launches the default profile of my current user, A. The ability to see another user's profiles is concerning, and even makes me question the degree of isolation between profiles. I'm unsure if this is an Orion issue, or if macOS just has weak isolation between users.
Orion was installed using Brew.
I expected Orion instances on different user accounts to be separate—no data shared. My understanding of macOS is limited, so I don't know whether this kind of separation of app instances across users is possible, but my impression has always been that users are separate.
If I'm mistaken and Orion's current implementation already separates instances across users to the degree that the OS permits, then anything to remove mention of another user's profiles in Spotlight and under Default Web Browser will have to suffice. Presenting the option to select a profile from another user—which fails to open—is undesirable.
