I had an instance where a tab that I opened from a link on a page disappeared from the tabs drawer and active tabs, after several navigations on opening a new tab. This tab couldn't be accessed unti lthe browser app was re-opened.
I had four tabs open, including one an article in reader mode, and a YT video that wasn't playing.
Opened another tab, searched a term, opened the site, and made a purchase using Apple Pay.
At a certain point after this, the active tab switched to another tab, and the tab I was on disappeared completely from the tab drawer.
The tab drawer count shows 4 tabs, with the missing ghost tab not included, but the tab groups pane when the tabs count in the drawer is tapped, shows the correct count with the disappearing tab:
browser should never 'disappear' a tab.
