Google’s search results are shown wrongly after I restart the app.

After a period of time the app is restarted, google’s search results are loaded wrongly.

For example, when I search “430 scuderia” with google, after I restart the app, the search result is shown as “430%20scuderia”

I want to see same search results after I restart the app.

Hey @kalehacell,
I have been chasing this issue and trying to come up with easily reproducible steps for it. I believe this is related to sync issues.
Are you by chance using a Tab Group when this bug occurs?

laiz yes, this happened in tab group.

That's great to hear. I assume you are not able to reproduce it on the default tab group (i.e., the one that is not saved or synced)

So i can google anything perfectly fine but if I close the app and go back to the tab, my tab refreshes the search with "%" in between every word. Messing up the search

I'm using an iphone 12 on ios 18.4.1

I expect to return to my original search without percentage symbols between the words. Only orion does this so I'm guessing it's a bug

Hi Jlalex thank you for taking the time to report this bug!

It is an annoying problem and I've worked on similar bugs recently. Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this issue exactly. Would you be able to provide me with a bit more information?

Do you have any extensions installed?
Do you have any specific setting set to a non-default value?
Do you find that the number of tabs open affect this issue?

If that's not too much to ask, would you be able to post a screen recording of the issue appearing, from a stable working state to a state where the issue is visible? This would help me see if there's any clues in the process that could help figure out the root cause.
