No audio plays in Orion

The piece movement sounds are not played on any chess site I tried. The purple "sound playing" icon shows up for a moment but no sound is played. The sites I tried:

https://chess.com
https://chesstraining.app

I tried same sites in Firefox and Safari and there are no problems with sound. This may be related to some extension I use, but I use same and more on Firefox. Also I checked "Allow autoplay multimedia" for lichess.

Brief sounds of piece movement should be played every time a piece is moved on the chessboard.

Can somebody confirm this (https://lichess.org/analysis allows not registered users to move pieces so easy to verify)?

Super weird, but can confirm. No sound on lichess.org or chess.com on one of my machines running Orion, both in normal and private tabs. On another machine, running same version of Orion, sound plays no problem. Sound is definitely turned on on both sites as the purple "sound playing" icon shows up, and I can hear the sound in other browsers. Other sites that play sound (eg. YouTube playing a video) play ok.

Bug: On some websites (e.g. songsterr.com) there is no sound after pressing play button. I've enabled auto-play for it, disabled all extensions on it, tried safe mode (shift + click) and even reset my browser, it didn't help.
This does not happen in Safari, Firefox or Chrome.

Please note that there's no sound only while playing tabs on Songsterr - YouTube widget on it works fine (to reproduce the bug press "SYNTH" instead of "ORIGINAL" at the bottom of website).

Expected result: There should be sound 🫠

Also: in website console there's no error messages that is related to the sound problem.

In some websites, such as deltarune.com/dess, audio doesn't play, or if it does, it plays too soft. Doesn't happen in Safari. Enter the website and click the guitar to see the issue.

I expected the Audio to play as normal.

I tried to access the Building Blocks (1 and 2 present the same issue) tool on this website: https://learn.audiblegenius.com

You can try without an account and see that if you launch a lesson (https://learn.audiblegenius.com/course/bb1/section_1/drums_1/earned) the video (labelled 'demonstration') has sound but not the tool itself (you need to press the 'Challenge' button up top and then 'start').

I tried from a new clean Orion profile and in compatibility mode but sadly it did not fix the issue.
This website works properly in Safari.

There should be a sound played when in the tool with the track running, you can see in the video uploaded that it works fine in Safari but not in Orion.

Some issue here with https://www.songsterr.com on a clean installation of Orion no extensions. Also happens in other tab/guitar sites.
Safari and other browsers play ok.

I can confirm this is a bug for me in both Orion and Orion RC on macOS. Using version 0.99.135.2-rc. No audio on chess.com

Hey everyone,
This bug is related to the WebKit version Orion currently ships with. The unfortunate news is that the next release (Orion 0.99.136-beta) is scheduled for this week after extensive testing, and it still uses the same version of WebKit as the current version. You can expect to see this fixed in 137-beta; more details will be shared as that release approaches.

Our contributors and Orion+ subscribers can expect to see a new version of WebKit land in their RC builds sooner than that. Stay tuned.

myNoise is one of my very favorite websites: an in-browser mixer that produces a wide variety of background sounds procedurally -- https://mynoise.net

But for a while now, it's been Just Plain Broken in Orion. On two different laptops, it simply produces no sound. Other websites can produce sound in Orion, and myNoise works fine in other browsers (both Chrome and Safari).

I expect to get sounds, same as I do in, eg, Chrome.
