Creating a new tab via the sidebar causes the keyboard to have a stuttering animation

Steps to reproduce the issue:

Enable Sidebar Tab view style in Settings → Tabs
Open the Sidebar
Tap the +
A new tab will be created, and the keyboard spawns with a weird animation
This doesn't happen when creating a new tab via the toolbar or when Grid tab view style is enabled.

Expected behavior:
The keyboard animation should be smooth as is the case when opening a new tab using any other method.

There are two ways to open a new tab:

When using the "+" button below the url bar, i will be taken to a new tab and then i click on the url bar to start typing

But when using the add button from the list of tabs, the keyboard will first show up and then hide itself.
