The popular extensions list in the settings is much appreciated. It has helped me discover some new useful extensions, and also provided reassurance for installing them.
I've noticed that people sometimes post suggestions for an addition to the popular extensions list, but would it maybe be useful to collect such suggestions systematically? Perhaps through some kind of a megathread where people can suggest extensions that could go on the popular list, and others could vote for these - the developers can get an idea of what they might add to the list, subject to their own checking of compatibility and other considerations.
