After joining a Google meet, the call stops after roughly 1 minute (±5seconds)
Context: a few tabs opened were opened
Extensions:
- Ublock origin (turned on or off, same thing)
- Unhook
Network: mobile hotspot
On Safari: no issue, everything works
Message:
"Impossible to start the video call because of an error"
Issue reproduction:
I closed Orion and re-opened it. Joined the meeting and woke up everytab one by one. As soon as I reloaded the website https://dealabs.com, the meet closed with the said message. I disabled uBlock origin on dealabs.com as well, without solving the issues.
Visiting a few other websites was fine (e.g. google drive, chatgpt, orion website)
Issue solving:
I was able to solve the issue by setting dealabs.com in compability mode.
As soon as I unticked "Enable cookies" on dealabs.com, the google meet stopped. I enabled cookies again on dealabs.com and set meet.google.com in compatibility mode.
Still, when I unticked "Enable cookies" on dealabs.com, the google meet stopped.
It seems the failing of tracking cookies from dealabs.com kicks me out of the Google meet.
I was expecting not to be kicked off the Google meet
