On large (but not unreasonably large) pages, hitting Command-F and typing a search term does not work: it shows "Searching..." for a long time (at least a minute) or until I click elsewhere in the page -- after which the page is unresponsive (links cannot be clicked). Most of the time, the page remains unresponsive even after dismissing the Find box by clicking "Done". Sometimes, the page becomes usable (links clickable) again after waiting a while.
An example page is https://wg21.link/index.html (a list of ISO C++ Standard Committee papers), which is a straightforward HTML document of about 1.3 MB. Command-F followed by typing "library" (a word that appears in the first line of the document) triggers the behavior.
It does not seem to matter whether the search term has many or few matches ("library" has over 1000 and "profile" has 21, according to Safari, but both cause the same behavior).
Version 0.99.134-rc (WebKit 622.1.9.19.2), macOS 15.5, arm64. Tested on a fresh macOS VM (in UTM) using a fresh install of Orion RC.
Typing the search string should highlight the first match quickly. On the same page, Chrome is very snappy and Safari is a bit laggy but usable.
