CAN’T AUTOFILL PASSWORDS

There is the password icon but I cannot autofill my passwords on any site when I click on the password

I want to autofill my passwords just like on Safari, otherwise seeing a list of my passwords without autofilling is useless

Just to clarify @Griffin, is this using Orion's keychain? If so, I can confirm this on my end.

Hey! Apologies for these issues. The team is (painfully) aware of them and they are working hard to fix them. Thank you for your patience. If you don't mind the additional effort, you could list specific examples of sites where autofill fails.

@laiz I can recreate this at all random sites I picked to test: geekbench.com, hotels.com, bandcamp.com, motogp.com, gog.com

Potential workaround for you to test while the fix is being worked on:
Could you try disabling Use Touch ID from Orion settings → Passwords?

Yep, that allows passwords to fill and send normally

When using autofill for passwords, I click the desired username, get the prompt to use touchId or password to autofill the specific password. When i identify myself with touchid, it restarts the process.

I've been having this issue since the last update too. You asked for example sites: go.xero.com and web.fulcrumapp.com are examples for me.
Glad I found this thread; disabling Use Touch ID allows my stored passwords to be autofilled.

I'm using 1Password to autofill credentials.
Often, 1Password detects the correct credentials to login to the page, but no matter how many times I click on it they aren't filled in.

The only thing that works is reloading the page (sometimes two or three times) before the credentials get filled in and I can continue logging in.

(Not sure if this issue fits in this threat, please advise if I need to create a separate bug report.)

This particular thread is for the built-in password manager of Orion. For 1Password, please see if one of the existing reports matches your issue by searching for 1password. If there isn't one, a detailed bug report would be helpful.

The team is well aware of the issues related to the more popular password extensions and they are a high priority as Orion 1.0 release is approaching.
