Unable to log into the Home Assistant Discourse forums

I spotted a few issues that could be related to this but not exactly, so I've decided to open my own report for this specific case. As I've been slowly migrating to Orion, I'm testing the websites I need to be in daily for work and reporting what hasn't been already.

I'm an admin for https://community.home-assistant.io and I simply cannot log in, nothing happens when I enter in my username, password, and click Log in. 1Password extension fills in my details perfectly, which is great. Running in compatibility mode did not resolve the issue, and it works as intended in Safari (below expected result explains how that works). I have not tested to see if this happens when someone is trying to sign up, so the steps here are for people who already have an account. I'm also not sure what would happen if an account doesn't have 2FA on it - my account has it (for obvious reasons as admin), and it's possible this is what's breaking along the way.

Navigate to https://community.home-assistant.io
Click Log In at the top right
Note the pop-up to sign in appears
Enter in the username and password for the account you want to log into
Click Log In
Observe that nothing happens, the page doesn't try to load the next step in the sign in process

I expect there to be another dialog box that prompts me to use my 2FA code before signing in - this does happen on Safari.

Hi @missyq, can you try clearing Orion's cache and restarting the browser, and testing this out in a new clean profile?

Thank you for the follow up, @RoxyRoxyRoxy! I gave that a shot - I emptied the cache via the Develop menu, fully exited out of all of my open browser profiles/windows, relaunched the browser, created a new empty profile to test this on. Success with that!

Came back to my default profile to sign in and it still doesn't do anything after clicking Log in. The only real difference between these two profiles is that the 1Password extension is installed as my password manager on my default profile and not in the new profile (as expected when creating it). I also did not have the 1Password extension set up in Safari, where signing in did end up working.

To that end, I installed the 1Password for Safari extension and was able to use that successfully to sign in. I suspect that because the Safari one is installed via the App Store and I'm using the Chrome extension, they will behave differently.
