Middle click not fully functional

while on youtube and pinterest, middle click should supposed to open a new tab. but clicking the thumbnail or image, it just shows me a site without new tab and not preserving the previous page.

i want middle click behaviour to act just like the other browsers. opening the new tab even when clicking the image.

Hey, could you share a screen recording of the issue? I tried middle clicking thumbnails on YouTube and new tabs were opened as expected.
