kektus Thank you very much for your report. To follow up on laiz's question, and looking at the crash report, this might be related to web extensions.

I see Bitwarden and uBlock in your screenshot, but would you mind listing all the extensions you are using?

Hey! Could you test whether you are able to crash Orion on a fresh profile (File → Profiles → New Profile...)?
FWIW, I am able to use ⌘⇧C without Orion crashing.

I tried on a clean profile, same behavior.
Regarding extensions, I'm using these:

kektus Thank you for sharing those settings, unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce even with those exact settings.

Perhaps a few questions might help narrow down the cause of this:

Does it this happen for every site?
Does it only occur when using the keyboard shortcut? What about when selecting the menu item from the Edit menu, or when opening a site as a preview, right clicking above the title and selecting "Copy Page URL":
Do you have any macOS-general apps that help with shortcuts like RayCast, Alfred, etc--or have you changed any Orion shortcuts in macOS System Settings in some way that might interact with the "Copy Page URL" menu item?

I just tested it with Version 0.99.134-beta on macOS 15.5, and it works perfectly fine.

Below are my answers:

yes it happens on every site
It occurs even when I click on the menu item from the Edit menu, Copy Page URL crashes, and also Copy URL as markdown
I use Raycast, but have nothing configured for Orion. At one point, I had a shortcut linked to Safari for Copy Page URl. https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/ea79653898434453bf84eba7de04bae1 but I have removed it some time ago. I don't have any macos app shortcuts defined. This just started happening for the past last 2 versions.
The one before the bug report worked flawlessly (Orion RC 0.99.132.3).
I reproduced the same behaviour on a m3 mb air. As soon as I updated to the current version, crashes galore.

kektus Thank you for those details. I still haven't been able to reproduce, but will keep trying.

One more question, looking through the crash logs we get, it seems this type of crash has occurred a few other times, but there is not a clear pattern in the stack traces--do you encounter this crash on performing other actions besides "Copy Page URL" and "Copy URL as Markdown"?

@astruckm the crash always happend when I press cmd + shift + c on any and every website.
Straight up open a page, press the combo, and crash.

Whenever I use the built-in Orion shortcuts for Copy Page URL (shift cmd c) or Copy URL as Markdown (option shift cmd c) on any website, the browser immediately crashes and quits. This happens consistently and is fully reproducible.

The issue does not occur in other browsers such as Arc or Zen, so it appears to be specific to Orion.

Env: My macOS version is 14.7.6 and my mac version is m1 pro.

plz fix the bug asap.
