More Autofill options (address/credit card/contact..)

Sadly I’ve come to the conclusion that this is a deal breaker for me to continue using Orion :/ I purchase a lot online on different websites and not having an option to auto fill cards and delivery address is really annoying 🙁 Im glad to support Orion with my yearly subscription but I’m gonna have to go back to Arc since they have support for all this baked in

brando I realized arc has the password and payment methods manager only for each local installation, so it’s not synced through cloud to other sessions 🙁 then I gave up and decided to sub to 1Pass and when I tried to use it with Orion it kept crashing (like 10 times within 1 hour) every time I tried to autofill a password 🙁

Only iOS browsers that sync address and payments afaik is Firefox, Safari, and Chrome

This is a big deal and a major inconvenience when using Orion. Also, when using autofill for passwords, you should not have to fill the user name and password separately. You should be able to just pick the user name and have it fill in the password automatically.

Vlad Please make autofill contact and credit card info a top priority for Orion! This is by far my biggest issue with this browser, and I know I'm not the only one. I understand it is not easy or standardized, but Firefox is open source and can do it, and the https://fill.dev/ page posted here 3 years ago has a page that might be helpful: https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/form-control-infrastructure.html#autofill

I remember reading about certain feature requests when one of the team members responded saying since they don't have enough team members working on project, as long as they can maintain parity to those of safari, they are ok keeping it like that until they have a bigger team or time. Well there's two features both iOS & Mac that Orion doesn't have on either iOS or MacOS, profiles within same window.

Also I read about some people defending the choice of not having autofill suggestions outside of passwords for the sake of privacy but can we also get an option for this as I main this browser.

Profiles in same window - I understand some people like it the way it is now but could there be an option for those who prefer a cleaner less cluttered dock? I am not sure how long its been on MacOS but safari on iOS has had the option i believe since the iPhone 15 released so at least over a year. Are we going to get these features?

Autofill Text Boxes - I have a lot of mundane routine entries I have to type for work changing just a number or two and it gets annoying typing the whole string every time. I end up switching to a PC when I have to do this since Orion does not suggest anything. If this was an option for those who don't need the most crucial security, that would be nice.

Addresses would be useful and stop me using Safari at all on iOS. I’m not concerned with card detail auto completion so it doesn’t need to be a separate encrypted space. I have seen Vivaldi‘s approach which, is an extra icon next to the password complete in the bar above the keyboard. This could pull up an address line by line as a very basic implementation.

As much as I like Orion, lack of autofill caused me to go back to Safari.

We're aware of the news and rumours about iOS 26.4. So far, what we've read is that it will add the ability to save to your wallet a credit card entered in a 3rd party app like Orion. At this stage it's unclear if the opposite (autofill of credit cards in 3rd party apps) would also be improved and better integrated. It would make sense to add support for this too, but you never know what Apple has in its plans...

In the meantime, you can already use the slightly more convoluted autofill contextual menu and navigate to your saved credit cards in any text field in iOS 26. Or as pointed out by JimG, you can use it on macOS too, but you have to set the text input into a text field before, in order to activate these menus.

So far we haven't seen anything similar announced or rumoured on macOS, but we'll keep our eyes and ears open for that platform too.

We have experience with Apple's AutoFill APIs (our team recently worked on OTPs and some edge cases on passwords), and they're not the easiest or most documented APIs. We'll have to wait for the release of iOS 26.4 to evaluate how to add any new capabilities to Orion for iOS.

Rest assured we absolutely want to implement this feature. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience.

Orion does everything else I want in a browser, but not being able to autofill is probably going to be a dealbreaker.

I'm sorry if I'm being stupid, but I see menu items for Autofill/Contact, /Passwords, and /CreditCard. They are grayed out. Is there a way to activate them, or why are they there?

JimG If you right-click inside a text field (e.g. "Name"), you should see the same menu with the entries not greyed out. In a pinch, this works but rarely as smoothly as one expects autofill to work in modern browsers. For example, the full address will get put into the "Street" text field instead of being split across the various fields in the form.

I hope this gets prioritized soon and I'm a bit baffled that this wasn't on the roadmap for 1.0 since it is such a crucial feature for a modern browser. Glad to hear that the devs took note of it and will hopefully implement it soon.
