Option to expand nested vertical tabs by default

I like the nested vertical tabs option for grouping of related tabs but have encountered one thing that makes it slightly frustrating for me to use. When I close and open the browser all of the nesting is collapsed and I have to re-expand groups manually.

I would like the option to have them expanded by default on launch (or add expand all/collapse all buttons somewhere in the UI)

I would love to have the option to have all nested tabs automatically expand as soon as a child tab is created.

An expand all/collapse all button somewhere in the UI would also be a welcome addition.
