Address bar freezes

My address bar located in the bottom occasionally freezes as in doesn’t respond to any input anymore. Basically all buttons in the toolbar. Only workaround is to kill the app.

Can’t tell what triggers this. I usually have several tab groups with 5-10 tabs each open.

In today’s case I was watching an embedded video from YT and switched between portrait and landscape.

I have just one extension (Dark Reader), but it shouldn’t have been active in this moment.

Thank you for the report. I have encountered the same, but I have not been able to find reliable steps for reproducing the issue. I don't have any extensions installed.

I've also encountered this. I have my address bar at the top, if that's relevant, and I'm in Focus Mode. I had all my extensions turned off when it happened. I've only ever got it on the blank page after opening a new tab. Restarting the app fixes the problem. I have about a dozen tab groups with varying numbers of tabs in them, but at most a few dozen. iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18.5
