Netflix streaming error S7361-1253

I have the same problem with Netflix. Posted about it on this platform a few weeks back.

But I don't have the same problem with Disney+. Even before the latest 0.99.137 update.

I don't have HBO Max to test it with it too. I hope this gets fixed with the next update.

Still broken, albeit better now. I get two minutes of playback until Netflix says the S7361-1253 error.

eirk Some videos use DRM...any they can be only played if the browser supports them...when I try to play any DRM based video, it plays 5 seconds then, stops and weird sounds from the video comes...

eirk only safari and Orion have this issue....co they dont support DRM based videos....otherwise, Firefox, edge, chrome and all other browsers can play them....probably coz only Orion and safari are based on webkit.

Cannot watch video on HBO Max. Can log in, watch trailers and browse website, add and remove items from watchlist, but cannot play actual shows/movies.

Hit play, it plays a couple of seconds or so and then it displays an error:

I expected to hit play and watch a movie.

I've made a couple attempts to add a screenshot (image file) but I'm not getting confirmation it was uploaded. If you reach out to me, I'm happy to submit it by some other means.

Also, I'm using MacOS beta: Version 27.0 Beta (26A5406e). I didn't see another way to report this since it's not in drop down option.

LaylaJ The error 1K-0028 you’re seeing is typically related to the DRM playback path. Apple uses FairPlay to support DRM-protected video streaming. Unfortunately, Apple does not allow third-party apps to directly access FairPlay.

FairPlay can be accessed through the system WebKit, which uses XPC services signed with an Apple certificate. However, Orion uses a custom WebKit implementation that is signed with Orion’s own code-signing certificate, so it cannot access those FairPlay services in the same way.

We are continuously looking for any possible workaround, but due the complexity of this problem this is going to take time.
