Video Stops playing when switching tabs

This is more a question than a bug, If a video is playing and I switched tabs using the sidebar the video stops playing. But switching using Picture-in-Picture it continues to play if you have two videos playing.

I'm just wondering is this by designed? is there a setting to have the Video to continue to play when switching tabs?

I'm not sure that I understand correctly... Can you do me a favor and make a video recording please?

Sorry I missed your request. Essentially when I click on the Picture in Picture while on a page that’s not playing a video. When I return to the page the video is stopped. You can click the play button to restart it. But if click on the tabs it doesn’t stop playing.
